Greetings, NCDA members!

First off I would like to introduce myself: my name is Kim Lomax. I direct the Vocal Jazz Ensemble at UNO, and as of April 15, will be trying to fill the very large shoes of Fred Ritter as your State-level Vocal Jazz R&S Chair while Fred moves up to serve as our Regional Chair.

All-State Musical Auditions Due on May 1st!!!

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS: Please video record yourself performing a verse and chorus of any musical theatre piece of your choosing. The piece you select should show off the very best qualities of your voice/performance abilities (like range/humor/tone/style, etc.). Again, please state who you are and where you are from on your recording.

PLEASE HAVE ALL MATERIALS SENT IN OR UPLOADED BY MAY 1.

Please make sure that you students use this new All-State Jazz Audition form. It is much clearer with the scales printed out. Also hear Kim Lomax singing an example of what we are looking for on the solo audition.
